HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
The best way is to pop into the studio; we can discuss your ideas and advise. To book an appointment we take £60-100 cash deposit depending on the size of the tattoo.
*please note all deposits are non-refundable
Where is the studio located?
Scribble Ink is a 9 minute walk from Loughton tube station

Can I use numbing cream?
Yes you can use numbing cream. We advise you to check the ingredients and use at your own discretion
Can I get tattooed if I'm on medication?
We advise you to check with your medical professional if it is safe to get tattooed.
Do I need to book an appointment or do you accept walk ins?
It's always best to book an appointment in advance, however if we are freee on the day we would be happy to accept walk ins.
What should I do before my appointment?
Have a good meal before your appointment. Do not drink any alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Make sure you are not sunburnt on the area you will be getting tattooed.
Can you tattoo over scars or old tattoos?
It depends on the scars or tattoo, it's best to pop into the shop and let us take a look first.
How old do I need to be to get tattooed?
You must be over 18. Please bring Photographic ID to your appointment.

AFTERCARE GUIDE
Remove the clingfilm after 2 hours
Wash your tattoo with your hands (make sure they are clean) using warm, soapy water
Do not over soak your tattoo
Keep out of direct spray of the shower
Pat dry DO NOT RUB WITH A TOWEL
Apply a small covering of Savlon Antiseptic cream and redress using clingfilm
Repeat this process twice a day for 3 days.
After 3 days continue to apply a small amount of Savlon 3-4 times a day until healed.
We provide everyone with an aftercare kit.
PLEASE NOTE
No swimming, soaking or sun tanning until healed.
Always protect your tattoo from the sun using a high factor sunblock
